Sentinel Diana

The Ruination of Targon and the loss of the Aspect of War devastated the Rakkor tribes. But the only way to fight an Aspect's power is with another Aspect—and so Diana takes up her blade as a member of the Sentinels, knowing that Viego would destroy everything the moonlight touches.

Been maining Diana since season 8 and after 500k mastery points across all her skins, I finally grabbed Sentinel during the event. My experience with Sentinel Diana has been interesting compared to other Diana skins, especially coming from someone who's played every single one extensively. The skin definitely grew on me after about 80 games, but not for the reasons you'd expect.

The Q feels way smoother than base Diana or even Dark Waters, with a cleaner animation that makes landing those max range pokes in lane more consistent. Her E pull has this satisfying golden effect that's actually easier to track in teamfights, and I've noticed enemies respect it more just from the visual alone. But what really sold me was the ult animation being less clunky than Lunar Goddess. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to perfectly time my R reset because the visual indicator is so much clearer when you're about to get that second cast. That play probably wouldn't have happened on Blood Moon where everything blends together in red.

Is Sentinel Diana worth it? For 1350 RP, it's not just cosmetic. The ability clarity genuinely helps in clutch moments, especially when you're fed and diving their backline. Compared to other Diana skins like Dragonslayer or Prestige, Sentinel sits right in the middle for both aesthetics and functionality. It won't make you instantly better at Diana, but those cleaner animations do add up over time.

If you're a Diana main deciding between this and Battle Queen, go Sentinel. The responsiveness alone makes it worth, and you'll appreciate the difference after your first pop off game.
