Been spamming Rune Wars Renekton for about 40 games now and honestly, this skin hits different compared to other Renekton skins. The whole ancient warrior vibe actually translates into gameplay better than I expected. His Q feels more responsive somehow, like the animation flows smoother when you're trying to CS under tower pressure. And the W stun has this satisfying crunch that makes landing it feel way more impactful than on base skin.

The ult transformation is where this skin really shines though. During a dragon fight yesterday, I popped ult to zone their ADC and the visual clarity was insane. You can actually tell exactly where your hitbox ends, which sounds basic but compared to Pool Party Renekton where the floaty effects make everything feel unclear, it's a game changer. The E dash animation feels cleaner too, especially when you're doing the double dash combo through minions. I've been hitting way more tower dives successfully because I can better judge the second dash distance.

Is Rune Wars Renekton worth it for 975 RP? Probably yeah if you're planning to main him. It's not pay to win or anything, but the clearer hitbox indicators definitely help in teamfights when everything gets chaotic. My experience with Rune Wars Renekton has been solid overall. The skin aged pretty well considering it's older, and while it doesn't have the flashy particles of Hextech or PROJECT, it's got this clean feel that just works. If you're choosing between this and something like Outback or Galactic, Rune Wars wins easily. But if you already own Blackfrost, maybe wait for a sale since that one's still the smoothest feeling skin in his collection.
