Ruined Draven

Bought this skin after a brutal losing streak where I needed something fresh to reset my mental, and honestly Ruined Draven hits different from what I expected. After about 50 games with it, I can confidently say this skin completely changes how Draven feels to play compared to other Draven skins, especially coming from Gladiator which I mained for years.

The Q axes feel way smoother to catch with the darker visual effects making them easier to track in teamfights. Your W gives this sick corrupted speed boost animation that actually makes kiting feel more responsive than base skin. But the real game changer is the ult having that purple trail that's somehow clearer to track through minion waves. During a baron fight yesterday, I landed a cross map execute through three enemies because I could actually see where my ult was traveling, something that's always been wonky on Pool Party. The recall animation where he gets consumed by the mist is probably the cleanest Draven recall in the game.

Is Ruined Draven worth it though? For 1350 RP it's definitely not just a cosmetic change. The cleaner animations genuinely give you an edge in clutch moments, especially when you're trying to juggle three axes while dodging skillshots. Compared to Primetime or even Draven Draven, this skin makes CSing under tower noticeably easier because the axe indicators don't blend into the turret shots.

My experience with Ruined Draven convinced me it's actually his best skin for climbing. If you're a Draven main who's been sleeping on this one, grab it next time it's in your shop. The visual clarity alone makes it worth over something flashier like Mecha Kingdoms.
