Renegade Talon

Grabbed Renegade Talon from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I mainly run Enduring Sword. After about 40 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would. The whole crimson hood aesthetic hits different when you're popping off in river skirmishes.

The Q feels snappier compared to base Talon, probably just visual but the blade throw animation seems cleaner when you're trying to CS under tower pressure. His ult is where this skin really shines though. The stealth particles are way less obvious than something like Blood Moon Talon, which I've been abusing in ranked. Had this insane dragon fight yesterday where their support completely missed my ult engage because the activation is so subtle. But the real difference is in the E parkour animation. It's smoother than most of his other skins and I swear the wall hop feels more responsive when you're escaping after a dive gone wrong.

Is Renegade Talon worth it compared to other Talon skins? For 520 RP it's actually solid value if you want something that feels good without breaking the bank. It's not pay to win or anything, but that cleaner animation on abilities does make combos feel better. My experience with Renegade Talon has been surprisingly positive for what I initially thought was just another recolor. If you're a Talon main looking for something different from the flashier expensive skins, this one's definitely worth considering. Just don't expect crazy particle effects or recall animations. It's simple, clean, and gets the job done when you need to diff the enemy mid.
