After 120 games with Reaper Hecarim, I gotta admit this skin completely changed how I approach teamfights. As someone who owns most Hecarim skins, this one hits different when you're trying to snowball early game. The scythe animations are probably the cleanest I've seen on any of his skins, making last hitting feel way smoother than base Hecarim or even Arcade.
The Q feels more responsive compared to other Hecarim skins, especially when you're stacking it up for that early dragon fight. Last week I was contesting scuttle against a Lee Sin and the clearer hitbox on the Q swings actually helped me secure it before he could smite. Your W gives off this dark purple glow that's easier to track in messy fights, and the ult is where this skin really pops off. The spectral riders are way more visible than something like Elderwood where everything blends into green particles. When you're diving their backline, enemies actually respect the engage more because that ult looks absolutely insane coming at them.
Is Reaper Hecarim worth it? Compared to Cosmic Charger which feels clunky or High Noon which is too bright, Reaper strikes the perfect balance. It's not pay to win but the visual clarity definitely helps when you're fed and need to track your positioning in chaotic fights. My experience with Reaper Hecarim convinced three friends to grab it too. For 975 RP you're getting solid value, especially if you main the pony. The skin aged really well since release and still feels premium without being over the top. If you're on the fence, wait for Your Shop but otherwise it's an instant buy for any Hecarim player.
