Rageborn Mundo

There are many tales of the Rageborn menace: that he's slain dragons with a single cleave, that the mightiest wizards cannot halt his advances, that no noble knight foolish enough to try and stop him has ever come back alive. The accounts often contradict each other, but the one thing they all agree on is this: Where Mundo goes, no one else pleases.

Rageborn Mundo was my first Dr. Mundo skin after hitting mastery 7, and after 120 games with it, I'm convinced it's the most underrated skin in his collection. The transformation during his ult makes every teamfight feel absolutely insane, with those glowing purple flames and the demonic appearance that actually makes enemies hesitate before engaging.

The Q cleaver feels heavier and more impactful when it connects, probably because of the darker particle effects and that satisfying thud sound. His W burning agony has this purple flame aura that's way easier to track in messy fights compared to base Mundo, and the E auto attack buff gives your hands this sick molten effect that just looks brutal. I remember this one dragon fight where I popped ult at 20% HP and the enemy Vayne literally flashed away just from the visual alone, even though she could've probably finished me. Corporate Mundo might be more popular but Rageborn's animations feel less clunky, especially when weaving autos between abilities.

Is Rageborn Mundo worth it? For 975 RP it's definitely worth the price if you're planning to main him. The skin isn't pay to win but the clearer visual indicators on W and ult do help both you and your team track what's happening. Compared to other Dr. Mundo skins, this one strikes the perfect balance between looking threatening and maintaining clarity. My experience with Rageborn Mundo convinced me to skip the newer skins entirely. And honestly, if you're torn between this and El Macho or TPA, go Rageborn every time. The intimidation factor alone wins you lane trades before they even start.
