Honestly didn't expect much from Ragdoll Poppy when I got it from a chest last month, but after 55 games with it, this skin hits different than I thought it would. The whole creepy doll aesthetic seemed kinda cringe at first, but there's something about the way abilities flow that actually makes it worth playing over my usual Battle Regalia.

The Q animation feels way smoother than base Poppy, especially when you're trying to last hit under tower pressure. Her W shield pop has this satisfying button-eye flash that makes it super clear when you've blocked a dash, which saved me during a dragon fight yesterday when their Lee Sin tried to insec our ADC. But the real game changer is probably the ult windup, where she pulls back that oversized hammer with those stitched arms. It's got cleaner animation frames that make it easier to time those clutch saves or yeets. Had a game where I perfectly ulted three people trying to dive us under inhib tower, and I swear the visual clarity helped me line it up better.

Compared to other Poppy skins like Star Guardian, Ragdoll definitely feels more responsive in teamfights. The darker color palette makes her stand out less in river skirmishes though, which could be good or bad depending on if you're fed. It's purely cosmetic advantage wise, but those little animation improvements add up when you're trying to pop off.

Is Ragdoll Poppy worth it? For 975 RP, I'd say grab it if you main her or want something that feels less clunky than her base animations. Not gonna make you suddenly climb ranks, but it'll make those games where you're tilted feel a bit better.
