Picked up Pumpkin Prince Amumu from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I mainly play Infernal or Surprise Party. After about 35 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would.

The Q bandage toss feels cleaner somehow, like the animation doesn't have that slight delay the base skin has. But what really stands out is the W toggle with those orange particle effects around you. It's actually easier to tell when it's active compared to other Amumu skins, which matters when you're managing mana in extended fights. The ult explosion with the pumpkin vines spreading out looks insane too. Had a dragon fight yesterday where I flash ulted their backline and the visual was so satisfying that even their ADC complimented it in all chat before we aced them.

Compared to other Amumu skins like Surprise Party, this one feels less clunky overall. The model's smaller profile makes dodging skillshots feel better even though hitboxes are the same. And the recall where he carves himself into a jack o'lantern is probably the best recall animation he has. Worth mentioning that the E tantrum with those autumn leaves doesn't obscure vision like some of his other skins do, so it's purely cosmetic advantage wise.

Is Pumpkin Prince Amumu worth it if you're buying with RP? Maybe not at 1350 unless you really love the Halloween aesthetic. But if you get it from a chest or it goes on sale, it's definitely worth adding to your collection. The skin aged surprisingly well for something from 2020 and still feels fresh compared to his newer releases.
