✨ EUW Ranked Ready accounts restocked
Borrowed my buddy's account last week to test out Pulsefire Twisted Fate after seeing it dominate in my ranked games, and after 35 games I'm honestly conflicted about dropping the 1350 RP myself.
The Q animation feels incredibly smooth compared to base TF, and the card throws have this satisfying digital trail that makes last hitting feel cleaner somehow. Wild Cards actually feels faster even though I'm pretty sure it's just visual, but that psychological edge matters when you're trying to shove and roam. Pick A Card cycles through with these holographic effects that are way easier to track than something like Underworld TF where everything blends together in teamfights. But here's where it gets insane during actual gameplay. Last night we're contesting dragon, I ult in from river bush, and the teleport animation is so distinct that my jungler instantly knew to follow up. That visibility difference compared to other Twisted Fate skins probably won us that fight since everyone could track my position immediately.
Is Pulsefire Twisted Fate worth it though? After my experience with Pulsefire Twisted Fate, I'd say it's purely cosmetic with maybe a slight clarity advantage. The recall where he manipulates time cards is sick, and the futuristic voice lines don't get old. Compared to PAX TF which my main account has, this skin just feels more responsive overall, especially when you're trying to gold card that fed Katarina diving your backline. And the Destiny channel gives you this holographic map overlay that's easier to read in chaotic situations.
For TF mains who already own High Noon or PAX, this isn't essential. But if you're looking for your first premium TF skin, Pulsefire delivers enough visual clarity and smooth animations to justify the price.
