Picked this up from a chest last week and wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Dragonslayer, but after 35 games I'm actually impressed with how different Pulsefire Pantheon feels compared to other Pantheon skins. The futuristic aesthetic isn't just for show, and there's something about the tech warrior vibe that makes you play more calculated.
The Q feels way more responsive than base skin, especially when you're trying to poke through minions in lane. That digital spear effect makes it easier to track where your damage is going, which matters when you're trying to CS under tower pressure. His E shield bash has this satisfying electronic slam that just feels heavier somehow, and I swear the animation cancel into W is smoother. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to stun their fed Jinx through three bodies because the W targeting circle is so much clearer than Perseus or even Ruined Pantheon. The ult channel probably has the biggest difference though, with that holographic targeting system making it super obvious where you're landing even in messy teamfights.
Is Pulsefire Pantheon worth it? At 1350 RP it's not breaking the bank, and while it's definitely not pay-to-win, the visual clarity improvements are real. My experience with Pulsefire Pantheon has been that it's one of those skins that grows on you the more you play it. And compared to something like Ascended that feels clunky, this one just flows better. If you're a Pantheon main who values clean animations over flashy effects, you should buy Pulsefire Pantheon next time it's in your shop. Otherwise, Dragonslayer still gives you more bang for your buck aesthetically.
