Pulsefire Ekko

A time fugitive who built his Pulsefire suit from scratch, Ekko improved on the Remembrancers' technology, crafting a modified Chronobreak device that allows him to make short temporal jumps, create time breaks within a singular timeline, and to collapse them all into a single, anomaly-free singularity.

After 80 games with Pulsefire Ekko, I'm convinced this skin actually makes you play better mechanically. The W animation is so much cleaner than base Ekko that timing your stuns becomes second nature, and the holographic trail on your Q makes tracking the return path effortless even in messy teamfights.

The ult is where this skin truly shines though. That blue temporal rewind effect is insanely visible compared to other Ekko skins, especially PROJECT where I'd sometimes lose track of my clone position. Last night during a baron fight, I managed to perfectly time my ult to dodge a Malphite engage because the clone's position was crystal clear through all the spell effects. The E dash feels more responsive too, probably because the animation doesn't have that weird pause that Sandstorm has. And the passive proc sound is distinct enough that you never miss your third hit timing when trading in lane.

Is Pulsefire Ekko worth it compared to other Ekko skins? Absolutely, especially if you're serious about climbing. This isn't just cosmetic like True Damage where you're paying for style points. The clarity advantages are real, particularly the W shield that's way more visible than base. My experience with Pulsefire Ekko has been nothing but positive, and at 1350 RP it's actually reasonable for what you get.

If you main Ekko or even just play him occasionally, this skin will make those mechanical plays feel smoother. The Pulsefire line gets memed on sometimes but Ekko's version is legitimately one of the best competitive skins in the game. Worth every RP if you want that slight edge in ranked.
