Pulsefire Caitlyn

After 80+ games with Pulsefire Caitlyn, I'm finally ready to share my experience with this skin that completely changed how I play her. Got this from a chest last season and honestly wasn't expecting much since I already owned Battle Academia, but this skin hits different when you're trying to climb.

The auto attacks feel insanely smooth compared to base Caitlyn, and I swear the headshot animation is cleaner for last hitting cannon minions under tower. Her Q feels faster somehow, maybe it's the sci-fi sound effect, but I've been landing way more poke in lane. The trap placement animation is probably the biggest upgrade though, it's less clunky than her other skins and I can drop them mid-kite without breaking stride. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to zone their fed Kayn with perfect trap placement while kiting backwards, something that always felt awkward on Pool Party. And that ult channel with the holographic scope appearing? Pure eye candy that actually helps me track enemies through fog of war better.

Compared to other Caitlyn skins like Arcade or even the newer Battle Academia, Pulsefire just feels more responsive overall. The recall is sick too, watching her assemble that rifle piece by piece never gets old. Is Pulsefire Caitlyn worth it if you main her? Absolutely. This isn't pay-to-win but the visual clarity on abilities definitely helps in teamfights. At 1820 RP it's not cheap, but if you're serious about climbing with Caitlyn, this skin gives you that slight mental edge that makes you want to pop off every game. Would recommend grabbing it during the next sale if you're on the fence.
