Prom Queen Annie

After 55 games with Prom Queen Annie, I gotta say this skin hits different than what most people expect from a 520 RP skin. The whole prom theme seemed kinda cringe at first but the execution actually slaps once you're in game.

The Q feels smoother to last hit with compared to base Annie, and I swear the projectile is slightly easier to track for those clutch stuns. Her W cone is way more visible which helps both you and your team understand its range better. But the real game changer is Tibbers himself wearing that little tux. During a baron fight yesterday, I dropped ult from fog and the enemy Jinx literally didn't react for half a second because she probably thought it was some weird ward or something. That hesitation got her killed and we snowballed from there. The recall animation where she fixes her tiara is actually pretty fast too, saved me from getting caught out twice already.

Compared to other Annie skins like Hextech or Frostfire, Prom Queen Annie feels more responsive overall. Hextech has those clunky mechanical sounds that sometimes throw off my timing, while Prom Queen keeps everything clean. And unlike Super Galaxy which can get visually noisy in teamfights, this one maintains good clarity without sacrificing style. Is Prom Queen Annie worth it? For 520 RP it's definitely not pay to win but the cleaner animations do make CSing feel better.

My experience with Prom Queen Annie convinced me it's worth grabbing if you play her regularly. The skin aged surprisingly well for something from 2011 and still holds up against newer releases. Maybe wait for a sale if you're not an Annie main but otherwise it's solid value.
