PROJECT: Vi completely changed how I play her after 90+ games, and I'm genuinely surprised more people aren't talking about this. The Q charge feels way smoother compared to Officer Vi, which I mained for two years straight. When you're charging through river bushes for those sneaky ganks, the visual clarity on this skin makes it so much easier to judge your range without giving away your position too early.
The biggest difference is probably her E animation. It feels more responsive when you're weaving autos between abilities, especially during those messy dragon fights where every frame counts. Last week I was contesting soul against a fed Viego and the cleaner animation on Denting Blows let me cancel my third auto perfectly into ult. That split second timing wouldn't have worked on base Vi where the animations feel clunky. Her W proc is also way more visible through all the chaos, which helps track your damage output when everyone's popping off at once.
Is PROJECT: Vi worth it compared to other Vi skins? For 1350 RP it's definitely not just cosmetic. The ult indicator gives you better visibility when diving into teamfights, and enemies seem to have a harder time tracking your Q charge distance. But it's not completely pay to win either, just gives you that slight edge in clarity that matters when you're trying to climb.
After switching between this and Warring Kingdoms for a month, PROJECT wins for competitive play. The animations are tighter, abilities read cleaner, and it tilts enemies who think you're tryharding. If you're a Vi main looking to optimize your gameplay, grab it next time it's in your shop.
