PROJECT: Pyke

PROJECT: Pyke completely changed how I play this champion after grinding 100+ games with it this season. Coming from Sand Wraith which felt sluggish in comparison, the PROJECT animations actually make combos flow better and I'm not just saying that to justify the 1820 RP price.

The Q channel feels more responsive with that holographic indicator, making those max range hooks easier to land when you're fishing for picks. Your E dash has this digital trail that's somehow clearer for tracking where you'll end up, which matters when you're trying to thread between minions for that perfect engage. But the real game changer is the ult indicator being slightly brighter than base skin. Last night during a dragon fight, I managed to chain three executes perfectly because the X marker was so visible even with all the spell effects going off. My team was going insane in chat about the triple reset.

Compared to other Pyke skins like Blood Moon, PROJECT actually feels like it gives you a slight edge. The W camouflage has this tech shimmer that's easier for YOU to track but doesn't seem more obvious to enemies, at least from what I've noticed. Some people say it's pay to win because of the cleaner animation cancels on Q into E, and honestly they might be right. The recall animation where you dive into that digital pool is probably the coolest in his entire skin line too.

Is PROJECT: Pyke worth it? For support mains who play him regularly, absolutely. The visual clarity alone makes those clutch plays more consistent, and after this many games I can't imagine going back to his clunkier skins.
