PROJECT: Lucian

After maining Lucian for three seasons with around 400k mastery, I finally grabbed PROJECT when it went on sale last month. The difference from base skin is honestly insane, especially if you're used to High Noon or Demacia Vice. Your Q feels way more responsive, like the animation actually matches when damage applies instead of that weird delay base has. The ult channels smoother too, making those clutch tower dives where you need perfect kiting feel less clunky.

Been running this skin for probably 120 games now and the auto attack clarity is what sells it. During a baron fight yesterday, enemy Yasuo tried to windwall but I could actually see my passive procs landing through all the particle chaos. With Hired Gun you'd lose track of your autos in teamfights, but PROJECT keeps everything clean. The E dash has this crisp sound that helps with animation canceling, and I swear the W projectile is easier to track for hitting those max range snipes when someone's trying to recall.

Is PROJECT: Lucian worth it compared to other Lucian skins? For 1350 RP it's not exactly budget friendly, but the technical advantages make it feel borderline pay to win. The cleaner animations genuinely help with CS timing and trading patterns. My experience with PROJECT: Lucian convinced me to refund Prestige just because the gameplay feels that much better. If you're serious about climbing with Lucian or just want the best feeling skin, this is it. But if you're casual and just want something that looks cool, High Noon gets you 90% there for less.
