PROJECT: Leona

After maining Leona for three seasons with around 400k mastery, I grabbed PROJECT during a sale thinking it'd just be another addition to my collection. But after 150+ games, this skin completely changed how I approach teamfights. The shield bash on Q feels way more responsive than base Leona, and I swear the animation cancel into E is cleaner, making those flash engages actually land when they matter.

The E projectile is probably the biggest game changer though. Where Solar Eclipse makes it harder to track in messy fights, PROJECT's neon orange blade cuts through everything. Last night in a baron pit, their Ezreal tried to E away but I could perfectly track my engage through Morgana's pool and Viego's mist. The ult feels insane too, with that holographic slam giving better visibility on the exact center for stunning multiple targets. Compared to other Leona skins like Lunar Eclipse which I used religiously before, PROJECT just hits different in terms of clarity.

Is PROJECT: Leona worth it? For support mains who play her consistently, absolutely. The 1350 RP price tag might seem steep but the technical advantages are real. My experience with PROJECT: Leona convinced two duo partners to grab it after watching me pop off in ranked. It's not quite pay to win, but the clearer animations definitely help in cluttered fights where every millisecond counts.

If you're on the fence about buying, wait for a sale unless you're grinding ranked right now. But compared to other Leona skins, this one offers the best mix of style and actual gameplay benefits. Makes those level 2 all ins feel crispy every single time.
