PROJECT: Jinx feels like a completely different champion after 80+ games, and not just because of the cyberpunk aesthetic. The skin transforms her entire gameplay feel in ways that surprised me as someone who owns most Jinx skins including Star Guardian and Firecracker.
Her Q swap animation is noticeably smoother, making CS last-hitting feel more responsive compared to base Jinx. The rocket launcher mode especially benefits from cleaner animation frames that help during teamfights. But it's her W that really stands out with the neon trail being way easier to track through minion waves. I remember this dragon fight where the enemy team stacked up in river brush and my W connected through three people because I could actually see the projectile path clearly. Her ult has this satisfying digital explosion that makes it easier to judge the damage radius, though the rocket itself feels slightly smaller visually than Firecracker Jinx which threw me off initially.
The passive trigger creates this holographic speed trail that's probably the best visual clarity for knowing when you're popped off. Compared to other Jinx skins where the excitement particles can get lost in teamfight chaos, PROJECT keeps it clean. The recall animation with the motorcycle is worth the 1350 RP alone if you're into that aesthetic. And the chompers feel less clunky to place quickly during kiting sequences.
Is PROJECT: Jinx worth it for actual Jinx mains? Absolutely. It's not pay-to-win but the visual improvements make a real difference in ranked games. My experience with PROJECT: Jinx convinced me to refund Odyssey for this one instead. If you play Jinx regularly, this skin will make those marathon sessions feel fresh again.
