Program Soraka

Program Soraka was created as a support bot to protect humanity's fragile nature, offering technological salvation at the hands of a mechanical angel. Infiltrated by corrupt code, it is unclear if this mission of mercy remains her prime directive.

Got Program Soraka from a chest last month and wasn't expecting much since I usually run Star Guardian, but after 55 games I'm actually converted. The holographic effects make healing feel more impactful, especially the W animation that has this satisfying digital pulse when it connects. Your Q feels snappier too with the cleaner animation windup, making those max range pokes in lane way easier to land consistently.

The real difference shows during teamfights around dragon pit. Last night we were behind and the enemy Zed was fed, but when he dove our ADC, my ult's visual clarity made it obvious to everyone that the save was coming. The green grid effect is impossible to miss compared to base skin's subtle glow. Even my E silence zone reads better with those tech borders, and I've noticed enemies respect it more probably because they can actually see where it ends. Star Guardian's particles are prettier but Program's geometric shapes just hit different for gameplay.

Is Program Soraka worth it? For support mains who want every advantage, absolutely. The skin isn't pay-to-win but the visual improvements genuinely help with positioning and timing. My heal target selection feels more responsive and the whole kit flows better than most other Soraka skins I've tried. Sure, 1350 RP might seem steep for a support skin, but the Program theme works perfectly with her kit.

After my experience with Program Soraka, I'd recommend it over everything except maybe Dawnbringer if you're looking for competitive clarity. The tech aesthetic grows on you, and once you get used to those crisp animations, going back to other skins feels kinda clunky. Worth grabbing if you see it on sale or get lucky with hextech crafting.
