Bought this skin after my duo kept hyping it up for weeks, and after 70 games I'm honestly torn between loving and hating certain aspects. The Primal Ambush theme gives Talon this savage hunter vibe that's actually pretty sick when you're fed and diving their backline.

The Q feels insanely smooth compared to base skin, probably because the blade animation is cleaner and you can actually tell when the bleed procs. W projectiles are way easier to track in teamfights which helps with positioning around dragon pit. But here's what really sells it for me, the ult stealth has this predator shimmer effect that makes you feel like you're actually stalking prey. I remember this one game where I was defending our inhib turret 1v3, popped ult and the enemy team completely lost track of me in the chaos. Managed to delete their ADC and get out clean because the visual clarity on MY end was perfect while they were confused by the new effects.

Compared to other Talon skins like Enduring Sword, this one's definitely more about the aesthetic than competitive advantage. Enduring Sword still has the best E wall hop animation but Primal Ambush just looks cooler overall. The recall animation where he sharpens his blades is maybe the best in his collection. At 1350 RP it's not breaking the bank but you're paying for style over substance.

Is Primal Ambush Talon worth it? For Talon mains who want something fresh without sacrificing clarity, absolutely. The skin won't make you climb faster but you'll look good inting. Just don't expect it to be pay to win like some other assassin skins that actually hide their abilities better.
