After 80 games with Prestige Valiant Sword Riven (2022), I gotta say this skin hits different than my usual Spirit Blossom. The golden aesthetic might look flashy in preview videos, but in actual gameplay it's surprisingly clean without being distracting.
The Q combo feels more responsive compared to other Riven skins, especially when you're trying those fast Q cancels. Her third Q has this satisfying golden slash that makes spacing easier to judge, and I swear the E shield animation is cleaner for timing your engages. But what really sold me was during a baron fight last night where I needed to flash W five people. The stun particle is so clear that I could instantly see who got caught, letting me ult the right targets without second guessing. With Spirit Blossom, that same play would've been harder to read in the chaos.
Is Prestige Valiant Sword Riven (2022) worth it? For an exclusive skin, absolutely. The windslash on her ult travels with this golden trail that's easier to track than base Riven, which matters when you're trying to execute that fed ADC who's kiting back. It's not pay to win, but the visual clarity is probably the best among all her skins. My experience with Prestige Valiant Sword Riven (2022) convinced me that sometimes the prestige versions aren't just recolors. The Immortal Journey theme works perfectly with her kit, making every ability pop off without being too much. If you main Riven and can snag this from hextech or events, don't sleep on it. The skin genuinely makes those mechanical plays feel smoother, and that confidence boost alone makes a diff in ranked.
