Prestige Star Guardian Neeko (2022)

Got my hands on Prestige Star Guardian Neeko from a reroll and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm usually running Winter Wonder. After about 35 games though, this skin completely changed how I play her.

The Q feels way smoother to last hit with compared to other Neeko skins. That golden sparkle makes it easier to track in teamfights too, especially when you're trying to land multiple blooms through minion waves. Her E root has this satisfying snap animation that makes the timing feel more responsive than base skin. But the real game changer is her ult. The prestige version has this bright golden circle that's actually harder for enemies to gauge the exact edge of, and I've caught so many people who thought they were safe. During a baron fight yesterday, their ADC probably thought he was outside my ult range but got caught by maybe 50 units because the visual is slightly deceptive.

Winter Wonder Neeko still has the cleanest W clone animation in my opinion, but Prestige Star Guardian takes the crown for ability clarity on your own screen while being just ambiguous enough for enemies. The recall animation where she floats with Towa is pure eye candy, though it's a bit long if you're trying to back quickly. And yes, the skin is absolutely worth it if you can still get it through hextech crafting or if it comes back. The exclusive prestige effects make every ability pop off visually without being too distracting.

Is Prestige Star Guardian Neeko worth it? For Neeko mains who want both style and a slight competitive edge, definitely. Compared to other Neeko skins, this one strikes the perfect balance between looking insane and actually helping you land your combos.
