After hitting 100k mastery on Ekko last season, I told myself no more skins. Then Riot dropped Prestige Star Guardian and that promise went straight out the window. This exclusive skin completely changes how his kit feels, and I'm not just talking about the sparkly animations.

The Q throw feels way smoother compared to base Ekko, almost like there's less wind up before release. His W is probably the biggest difference though. That pink bubble is so much clearer in teamfights, especially when you're trying to land it behind dragon pit walls. I used to run PROJECT for the visibility but this beats it hands down. The E dash has this satisfying swoosh sound that makes timing your passive procs feel more responsive. During a baron fight yesterday, I caught their ADC with a W from fog and the whole team pinged it because the animation was so clean they thought I was scripting.

But here's what really sold me compared to other Ekko skins like True Damage or Sandstorm. The ult rewind actually shows your trail better. You know those clutch tower dives where you need to track exactly where you'll snap back to? This skin makes it insanely easy. The golden particles leave this perfect breadcrumb trail that doesn't get lost in minion waves or other effects. It's not pay to win exactly, but it definitely gives you an edge in those split second decisions.

Is Prestige Star Guardian Ekko worth it? If you're an Ekko main who plays him regularly, absolutely. The clarity improvements alone make it better than skins twice the price. Just don't blame me when you start climbing and can't play without it.
