Picked up Prestige Arcade Caitlyn from the mythic shop after hoarding essence for months, and honestly it's become my go-to skin after 80+ games. The animations feel way smoother than base Caitlyn, especially when you're trying to weave autos between abilities during teamfights.
The Q feels insanely clean compared to other Caitlyn skins. Where Pulsefire sometimes feels clunky with its windup, this one has a more responsive cast that makes kiting feel natural. Her E net animation is probably the best part though. It's got this crisp arcade effect that makes it easier to track in chaotic fights. During a baron fight yesterday, I could actually see my net placement clearly through all the spell effects, which helped me create distance from their fed Kayn. The ult channel has this satisfying arcade countdown that somehow makes those cross-map snipes feel even better when they connect.
But here's what most reviews miss about my experience with Prestige Arcade Caitlyn (2022). It's not just cosmetic. The cleaner animation on her passive headshot makes it easier to track your stacks, and I've noticed I'm hitting more clutch shots in lane because of it. Compared to Battle Academia which I mained before, this skin just flows better. The prestige effects add enough flair without being distracting, though the exclusive price might make some players hesitate.
Is Prestige Arcade Caitlyn (2022) worth it? If you're a Caitlyn main who values smooth gameplay over flashy effects, absolutely. The skin won't make you pop off if you can't CS, but it definitely removes some of the visual clutter that tilts me on her other skins.
