Prehistoric Renekton

Been maining Renekton since season 8 and finally grabbed Prehistoric from a chest last week after 55 games with it, I'm honestly surprised how much better the W feels compared to base skin. The stun animation has this savage bite that makes timing your combos easier, especially when you're trying to weave autos between abilities.

Pool Party might have the better ult visually but Prehistoric Renekton's fury bar is probably the clearest I've used. During a baron fight yesterday, I could instantly tell when I hit 50 fury without checking the bar since the skin gets this subtle glow that Pool Party doesn't have. The Q animation feels faster too, not actually faster but the swing arc is cleaner so you can judge the hitbox better when trying to CS under tower pressure. And the E dash has this weight to it that makes animation canceling feel more responsive than on Renomancer or base.

Is Prehistoric Renekton worth it compared to other Renekton skins? For 750 RP it's solid value if you care about clarity. It's not pay to win but there's definitely an advantage in reading your fury state during teamfights. The model itself looks a bit dated next to newer skins but the animations aged well. My experience with Prehistoric Renekton convinced me to use it over Hextech even though that one's rarer.

If you're a Renekton main who wants cleaner gameplay over flashy effects, grab this when it's available. The skin won't make you pop off harder but it'll help you stay consistent when games get intense. Should you buy Prehistoric Renekton over Pool Party? Depends if you value gameplay clarity or just want to tilt enemies with recall spam.
