After spamming 120 games with Prehistoric Anivia this season, I can't believe more people aren't talking about how this skin completely changes her feel. Everyone's sleeping on what might be Anivia's most satisfying skin compared to other Anivia skins, and I'm here to tell you why it's become my go-to over Blackfrost.

The Q feels way more responsive than base skin, with that primal ice chunk having clearer hitbox visibility that's saved me countless times. Wall placement feels snappier too, probably because the stone texture makes it easier to judge positioning. But the real winner is her ult, which has this cringe but good prehistoric screech that actually helps me track its radius better in messy teamfights. Just yesterday I was defending dragon pit against a fed Yasuo and the cleaner animation on my Q let me stun him through his windwall timing that I would've missed on base skin. My team went insane when we turned that fight around.

Is Prehistoric Anivia worth it? Absolutely, especially if you're tired of Festival Queen's flashy particles cluttering your screen. The 750 RP price tag feels right for what you get, though it's not quite pay-to-win like some claim. Sure, the abilities feel tighter and you might land 5% more Qs, but it won't suddenly make you pop off if your macro is trash. And while it doesn't have Blackfrost's intimidation factor, there's something satisfying about tilting enemies with a derpy bird that looks like it escaped from a museum. For any Anivia main who values clarity over flashiness, this skin deserves a spot in your rotation.
