Got this skin from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Battle Academia. After about 35 games though, Porcelain Protector might be my new go to for ranked.
The Q feels way smoother than base Ezreal and even compared to other Ezreal skins like Pulsefire. Something about the projectile makes it easier to track in teamfights, especially when you're trying to weave autos between abilities. The E blink has this subtle blue trail that's actually cleaner than most skins, making it easier to see where you'll land during those clutch tower dives. But the real difference is the ult. Yesterday during a dragon fight, I sniped their ADC through fog because the porcelain beam is just more visible against the river terrain. Would've probably missed that on base skin.
This isn't pay to win or anything, but the animations do feel more responsive overall. Compared to something like Arcade Ezreal where everything's flashy and distracting, Porcelain Protector keeps things clean while still looking insane. The auto attack animation cancels feel tighter too, which helps when you're trying to CS under pressure or kite a fed bruiser. My only complaint is the recall looks a bit cringe but good in its own way, with the whole tea ceremony thing.
Is Porcelain Protector Ezreal worth it? If you're an Ezreal main who wants something that looks premium without sacrificing clarity, absolutely. The skin's around 1820 RP which feels fair for what you get. Maybe wait for Your Shop if you're not in a rush, but after my experience with Porcelain Protector Ezreal, I'd say it's worth full price for anyone who plays him regularly.
