Been spamming this skin for around 80 games now and honestly, my experience with Porcelain Protector Aurelion Sol has been insane compared to other Aurelion Sol skins. As someone who owns most of his collection, this one hits different. The whole aesthetic screams premium without being too flashy, and the porcelain theme actually works better than I expected on a space dragon.
The Q feels way more responsive than base or even Storm Dragon. There's something about the animation that makes judging the stun timing easier, especially when you're trying to hit that max range stun during a dragon fight. Last night I caught three people with a single Q at baron pit because the visual clarity is just that much better. Your W breath attack has this satisfying ceramic shatter sound that makes CSing feel smoother somehow. And the ult? The knockback animation is probably the cleanest of all his skins. No weird visual clutter like Ashen Lord where sometimes enemies don't realize they're getting ulted until it's too late.
Compared to Storm Dragon which used to be my go-to, Porcelain Protector just feels less clunky overall. The recall animation alone is worth showing off after you pop off in lane. But here's the thing, it's definitely not pay-to-win despite the cleaner animations. You're not getting any actual advantage, just a better visual experience that makes the champion feel more modern. Is Porcelain Protector Aurelion Sol worth it? For mains absolutely. For casual players maybe wait for a sale since 1820 RP isn't nothing. The skin aged really well too, still looks fresh after all this time.
