After spamming around 80 games with Porcelain Amumu, I gotta say this skin completely changed how I play the sad mummy. Most people don't realize how much cleaner the Q animation feels compared to base skin. The porcelain effect makes the bandage toss way easier to track, especially when you're trying to land those max range picks in river fights. And the W toggle has this satisfying ceramic crack sound that's honestly addictive.
The ult is where this skin really shines though. During a baron fight yesterday, I flashed over the wall for a 4-man ult and the porcelain shatter effect was so clear that my team instantly knew who got caught. Compare that to something like Surprise Party Amumu where the confetti makes it harder to see who's actually stunned. But what really sold me was how smooth the E animation cancel feels. You can weave autos between abilities without that clunky delay the base skin has, which probably saved me during multiple tower dives when every bit of damage counts.
Is Porcelain Amumu worth it compared to other Amumu skins? For 1350 RP it's definitely not just cosmetic. The visual clarity alone makes it feel slightly pay-to-win, especially in messy teamfights where you need to track cooldowns. I've owned Infernal and Hextech Amumu for years, but Porcelain has become my go-to for ranked. The only downside is the recall animation takes forever, but you're not buying this for the BM potential anyway. If you're an Amumu main who wants every advantage in climbing, this skin's worth grabbing next time it's in your shop.
