Popstar Ahri

Picked up Popstar Ahri after saving RP for three months and honestly it's been worth every penny after 120+ games. The skin completely changes how her abilities feel compared to base Ahri, especially the Q which has this satisfying sparkle effect that makes CS'ing somehow more enjoyable. Her charm feels snappier too, with cleaner animation frames that actually help me land it more consistently in lane trades.

The real difference shows during teamfights around dragon pit. Last night I was playing against a fed Zed and the pink effects on my ult made it easier to track my dashes through all the chaos. Spirit Rush leaves these bright trails that help me keep track of charges better than Dynasty Ahri ever did. And the W orbs are probably the most visible out of all her skins, which sounds minor but makes a huge difference when you're trying to maximize damage on priority targets. The recall animation with the dancing is pure eye candy but doesn't get old even after spamming games.

Is Popstar Ahri worth it compared to other Ahri skins? Absolutely, especially if you main her. The 975 RP price point feels right for what you get. It's not quite pay-to-win but the clearer hitbox indicators on charm definitely give you an edge. My experience with Popstar Ahri convinced me to skip the newer skins entirely because this one just feels more responsive overall.

For any Ahri mains still on the fence, grab it next time it's available. The skin aged incredibly well and still makes you pop off harder than most of her newer releases. GG to whoever designed this one.
