Pool Party Rek'Sai caught me completely off guard when I got it from a hextech chest last month. After around 55 games with it, I'm honestly shocked how much better it feels compared to base Rek'Sai or even Eternum, which used to be my go-to.
The Q feels way more responsive when you're burrowed, probably because the water splash effects make it easier to track where your knockup zones actually are. Your tunnel animations are cleaner too, with those little pool floaties marking entrances that somehow make them more visible in river fights. But the biggest difference is the ult. That jet ski animation when you're flying across the map just feels faster, even though I know it's the same speed. During a baron fight yesterday, I ulted from bot lane and the enemy team actually pinged missing because they couldn't tell if I was coming or just backing. The water trail is way less obvious than the dust cloud from base skin.
Compared to other Rek'Sai skins like Blackfrost, this one's purely cosmetic but in the best way. The recall where she's lounging on a beach chair always gets me hyped after a successful gank. Sound effects are crisp without being distracting, and when you're fed, that chomping sound on your E just hits different. Is Pool Party Rek'Sai worth it if you main her? Absolutely. Even at 1350 RP, it's become my favorite skin for climbing. The visual clarity alone makes tracking your cooldowns easier, and let's be real, nothing tilts enemies more than getting solo killed by a void monster in swim trunks.
