Pool Party Miss Fortune

Picked up Pool Party Miss Fortune from a mystery chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm usually running Gun Goddess or Arcade. After about 40 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would.

The Q bounce feels cleaner somehow, like the animation doesn't get in the way of tracking where it's going. Her ult looks incredible but that's probably the worst part gameplay wise since the water effects make it harder to see exactly where the waves end compared to base skin. But her E placement feels more responsive, and I swear the auto attacks are smoother for last hitting. Had a dragon fight yesterday where the enemy Jinx walked right into my ult because she couldn't tell where the edge was through all the particle effects, so maybe there's a slight advantage there.

Compared to other Miss Fortune skins in the 1350 RP range, Pool Party sits somewhere in the middle. It's not as smooth as Captain Fortune for tryharding in ranked, but it's way better than something like Waterloo which feels ancient now. The recall animation alone makes it worth if you're into the summer vibe, and the sound effects on her laugh spam are absolutely tilted inducing for enemies.

Is Pool Party Miss Fortune worth it? For casual games and normals, definitely. The skin's purely cosmetic with no real pay to win elements, but it's fun enough to justify the price if you play her regularly. If you're grinding ranked though, stick with Captain or Gun Goddess for better clarity. Still glad I got it from the chest instead of buying it outright, but I wouldn't refund it either.
