Pool Party Gangplank

Been an OTP since season 7 and honestly Pool Party Gangplank is probably my favorite skin after testing it for around 80 games this split. The water effects completely change how the champion feels compared to other Gangplank skins, especially when you're trying to CS under pressure.

Q feels way smoother than base skin, with the water pistol animation being cleaner than the regular gunshot. Your barrels actually look like coconuts which sounds cringe but good since enemies sometimes underestimate their range in lane trades. The ult is where this skin really shines though. Those water splashes are insanely clear compared to something like Dreadnova where I can barely tell where my ult is hitting in a messy dragon fight. Just yesterday I stole baron because I could perfectly see each wave hitting, something that's way harder with Captain or Special Forces. And the passive burn looks like a sunburn effect which makes it easier to track who you've tagged in teamfights.

Is Pool Party Gangplank worth it? After playing with most of his skins, this one's become my go to for ranked. The E barrels have better visibility than base skin, making those triple barrel combos feel more responsive. Sure it's 1350 RP but compared to other Gangplank skins at that price point, you're getting way better clarity. Not exactly pay to win but there's definitely an advantage when you can track your abilities better in chaotic fights.

My experience with Pool Party Gangplank convinced three friends to grab it too. If you're serious about maining GP or just want a skin that won't tilt you with unclear animations, this is the one. The summer vibe is just a bonus at this point.
