Been maining Renekton since season 8 and honestly thought I'd never touch another skin after getting Pool Party, but Outback Renekton completely changed my mind after about 55 games. This 520 RP skin might look simple compared to flashier options, but there's something about the rugged aesthetic that just works when you're dominating top lane.

The Q animation feels cleaner than base skin, making it easier to CS under tower when you're getting zoned. Your W stun has this satisfying thwack sound that's probably psychological, but I swear it tilts enemies harder when you catch them overextending. And the ult transformation keeps the crocodile hunter vibe without being too extra. During a baron fight yesterday, I noticed how much easier it was to track my fury bar compared to other Renekton skins since the color palette doesn't clash with river effects.

Compared to Prehistoric or even Hextech Renekton, Outback feels more responsive during animation cancels. The simpler model means less visual clutter when you're trying to execute that perfect E through minions into empowered W combo. It's purely cosmetic advantage but the smoother feel definitely helps when you're fed and need to pop off in teamfights.

Is Outback Renekton worth it? For 520 RP, absolutely. It's not flashy enough to make enemies focus you harder in lane, but clean enough that you won't int because of weird visual bugs. My experience with Outback Renekton convinced me that sometimes the older, simpler skins are perfect for climbing.
