After 120 games with Order of the Lotus Irelia, I finally understand why this skin gets slept on compared to other Irelia skins. Coming back to League after a year break, I grabbed this from My Shop and honestly it's become my go to over Divine Sword. The zen garden aesthetic hits different when you're trying to stay untilted during ranked grinds.

The Q resets feel smoother somehow, probably just the petal effects making the blade surge more satisfying visually. But where this skin really shines is the E placement. Those lotus markers are way easier to track in messy teamfights than base skin's blue triangles. I remember this one dragon fight where their Yasuo tried to windwall my stun but I could perfectly see my blade positioning through all the chaos and landed a three man stun that won us the game. The ult feels lighter too, like the blades flow better when you're weaving autos between abilities. Compared to PROJECT which feels super mechanical and rigid, Lotus has this fluid feeling that matches Irelia's dance fighting style.

Is Order of the Lotus Irelia worth it? For 750 RP it's not exactly budget friendly but the visual clarity alone makes it worth. The recall animation where she meditates with floating petals is clean without being over the top like some of her other skins. And those chromas actually pop off if you want variety.

This isn't pay to win but the clearer hitbox indicators on E definitely help in lane trades. If you're an Irelia main looking for something that won't get old after 200 games, Lotus delivers. Just maybe wait for it to go on sale unless you're desperate for that competitive edge in your stun setups.
