Omega Squad Tristana

After losing my promos three times straight, I rage-bought Omega Squad Tristana thinking a new skin would somehow fix my mental. Turns out spending 1350 RP on tilt wasn't completely int because this skin actually helped me climb back up over the next 50 games.

The W animation feels way smoother than base Tristana and even Dragon Trainer. When you're jumping in for those risky tower dives, the rocket jump has this cleaner animation that makes it easier to track where you'll land. Her E bomb placement feels more responsive too, especially when you're trying to stack it quickly during trades. The auto attacks have this satisfying military rifle sound that somehow makes CSing feel better, though that's probably just placebo. In a baron fight yesterday, I could actually see my position better in the chaos compared to when I used Bewitching Tristana, where the purple effects blend into everything.

Is Omega Squad Tristana worth it compared to other Tristana skins? The darker color scheme genuinely helps in teamfights since you're not this bright yordle beacon screaming "focus me" like with her base skin. But it's definitely not pay-to-win or anything. The recall animation where she calls in the helicopter is pretty insane, and the voice lines hit different when you're fed and she's talking about "acceptable losses.".

If you're a Tristana main who plays her regularly, this skin's worth grabbing. The visual clarity alone makes it better than half her other skins, and it ages well since the military theme never really gets cringe. Should you buy Omega Squad Tristana over Firecracker or Dragon Trainer? That's tough, but for ranked grinding, this one's my go-to now.
