Omega Squad Fizz

Omega Squad's saboteur, Fizz is skilled in underwater combat. It is unclear what kind of action he saw before joining up, however, as he only ever refers to the sea as “a big bucket of chum.”

Got Omega Squad Fizz from a mystery chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Cottontail or Fisherman. After about 35 games though, this skin's grown on me in ways I didn't see coming. The military theme felt weird at first on our favorite trickster fish but there's something satisfying about the tactical vibe when you're making plays.

The Q feels way more responsive than base Fizz and even Cottontail. Something about the animation makes it easier to weave autos after, probably the cleaner transition frames. Your E gets this sick helicopter sound that's actually helpful for timing the drop damage in chaotic teamfights. But the real winner is the ult animation being less clunky than most other skins. Threw it during a dragon fight yesterday where three people were stacked and the shark submarine visual made it super clear who was getting chomped, letting my team follow up perfectly. We aced them and closed out the game right after.

Compared to other Fizz skins like Void or Super Galaxy, Omega Squad sits in this weird spot where it's not flashy but everything just works better. The W empowered attacks have better visibility which helps when you're trying to CS under tower or finish off that tilted Yasuo who thinks he can windwall your damage. Is Omega Squad Fizz worth it if you already own multiple skins? Maybe not unless you really vibe with the military aesthetic. But if you're looking for your first or second Fizz skin and want something that won't int your muscle memory while giving slight clarity advantages, this one's actually insane value. Not quite pay-to-win but definitely pay-to-play-smoother.
