Old God Mordekaiser

Been spamming Old God Mordekaiser for about 70 games now after grabbing it from a chest, and honestly this skin hits different than I expected. The whole eldritch horror vibe completely changes how the champion feels to play, especially coming from Dark Star which was my go-to before this dropped.

The Q animation feels way smoother compared to other Mordekaiser skins, making those crucial CS timings under tower actually manageable. His passive swirl is probably the biggest upgrade though, with these tentacle effects that make it super clear when you're in range to burn someone down. The E pull has this sick void portal effect that makes landing it feel more satisfying, and I swear the hitbox visibility helps me catch more people off guard. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to ult their fed ADC and the death realm transformation with all those cosmic horror visuals actually tilted them into typing "this skin is pay to win" in all chat.

Comparing this to Project Mordekaiser, Old God just feels less clunky overall. The auto attack animations flow better into ability combos, and the W shield has this purple glow that makes it easier to track when it's about to pop. Is Old God Mordekaiser worth it at 1350 RP? If you're a Morde main who plays him regularly, absolutely. But it's not quite pay-to-win level, more like pay-to-feel-good. The visual clarity improvements are real but won't suddenly make you climb ranks. For anyone on the fence about should you buy Old God Mordekaiser, I'd say wait for a sale unless you really vibe with the cosmic horror aesthetic or want that slight edge in visual feedback.
