Old God Ivern

Returning to League after a two year break and discovering Old God Ivern was probably the best surprise of my comeback. Spent around 90 games with this skin now and it completely changed how I experience this champion compared to base Ivern or even Dunkmaster which I used to main.

The Q feels way more responsive when you're trying to root someone through minions, and the darker particles actually help me track where it lands during messy teamfights. His W bushes spawn with this creepy growth animation that somehow feels faster than default, though that might just be psychological. But the real game changer is Daisy. She's this massive eldritch horror that genuinely makes enemies respect her more. Had a dragon fight yesterday where their ADC literally flashed away from Daisy before she even got close, something that never happened with my old skins. The ult summon has cleaner animation frames too, making it easier to position her exactly where you want during tower dives.

Compared to other Ivern skins this one sits at the top for me. Candy King is fun but the bright colors can int your positioning sometimes, and base Ivern just feels clunky after experiencing Old God. The 1350 RP price is worth it if you're planning to actually play the champ. Not quite pay to win but the visual clarity on abilities definitely gives you an edge, especially in lower elo where people don't know Ivern's ranges well.

My experience with Old God Ivern convinced me to become an Ivern main again. If you're on the fence about which skin to grab, this is the one that'll make you actually want to play him more.
