Obsidian Dragon Sett

Once an outcast child, Sett swore he would gain power to destroy anyone who made him feel weak. The Obsidian Dragon took notice of his grit and ferocity and blessed him with obsidian-hardened skin. Sett now uses his superhuman strength to make a name for himself as a pit fighter, and every hit that bounces off his crystalline skin makes his enemies tremble.

Picked up Obsidian Dragon Sett from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm usually rocking Prestige or Mecha Kingdoms. After about 35 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would.

The W feels insanely smooth compared to base Sett, especially when you're trying to time that perfect grit release in a tower dive. Had this crazy 2v3 where I soaked their jungler's full combo under tower, and the shield animation was so clean I could perfectly judge when to flash out for the stun. Your E has this subtle grab effect that makes it easier to see if you're gonna clip someone at max range, which definitely helped me secure a few kills I probably would've missed. And the ult? Way more satisfying to land when you're slamming someone into their team with that dragon energy explosion.

Compared to other Sett skins like Pool Party, this one's actually got better clarity in teamfights. The darker color scheme makes it easier to track your position when everyone's popping off and abilities are flying everywhere. It's purely cosmetic though, no actual advantage beyond the cleaner animations making your combos feel more responsive. Maybe it's just me, but I swear the auto attacks connect smoother too, making CS feel less clunky in lane.

Is Obsidian Dragon Sett worth it if you're thinking about buying? For 1350 RP it's solid but not essential. If you already own Mecha Kingdoms or Prestige, you're not missing out on anything game changing. But if you main Sett and want something that feels premium without breaking the bank, this skin's definitely worth considering when it goes on sale.
