Nurse Akali

Bought Nurse Akali after getting absolutely destroyed by one in ranked who kept making me look foolish with those clean combos. After 55 games with this skin, I can honestly say it's become my go-to over KDA All Out which used to be my favorite.

The Q feels noticeably smoother to throw compared to other Akali skins, especially when you're trying to CS under tower and need those precise last hits. Her E shuriken has this satisfying thwack sound that makes hitting it through minions way more satisfying, and I swear the animation feels faster even though it's probably just visual. The passive ring clarity is insane though, that pink medical circle stands out so much better than her base skin that I actually proc it more consistently now. Had this crazy dragon fight yesterday where I could perfectly track my passive procs in the chaos because that pink glow cuts through all the spell effects, ended up getting a triple kill that I'm pretty sure I would've inted on base skin.

Compared to other Akali skins like True Damage or Silverfang, Nurse Akali sits in this weird spot where it's actually helpful without being pay to win. The 975 RP price point feels worth it considering how clean the animations are. My experience with Nurse Akali has been surprisingly positive for what I thought would just be a meme skin. And before anyone asks about the Rift Hospital theme, yeah it matches well with Kennen MD if your duo wants to coordinate.

Is Nurse Akali worth it? If you're an Akali main who values clarity over flashy effects, absolutely grab it. The skin aged really well and still holds up against her newer releases.
