Nottingham Ezreal

An adventuring elf from the outlying forest kingdoms, Ezreal likes to present himself as a “handsome rogue-paladin” named Jarro Lightfeather. Very few people believe his claims of knighthood, but they serve as a decent enough distraction between his disastrous misadventures.

Been spamming Nottingham Ezreal for about 120 games now after grabbing it from a mystery chest, and honestly this skin grew on me way more than I expected. The Robin Hood aesthetic isn't something you'd think works on our favorite prodigy, but it actually feels pretty smooth in game compared to other Ezreal skins I've tried.

What really surprised me is how clean the Q animation feels. It's got this subtle green trail that's easier to track than base Ezreal, and I swear the projectile looks thinner which makes it feel more responsive when threading it through minions to poke. The E blink has this leaf particle effect that's actually less flashy than most of his skins, which I think helps in teamfights when you don't want to telegraph your position too hard. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to E forward into their backline and the enemy Syndra completely missed me probably because the animation is so understated. My ult doesn't have that massive windup tell that skins like Pulsefire have, making it easier to surprise people from fog.

Compared to something like Arcade Ezreal which I mained before, Nottingham feels way less clunky. The auto attack animation is butter smooth for CS'ing, and there's no annoying sound effects that get old after 30 minutes. Is Nottingham Ezreal worth it? For 520 RP it's definitely one of the better value picks in his collection. Not gonna lie, it's purely cosmetic with no real advantage, but the cleaner animations make it feel better than skins that cost twice as much. If you're looking to try an Ezreal skin without breaking the bank, this one's actually insane value.
