Jhin is the first of Cassiopeia's creations after the Lunar Players distort the world of myth. He embodies the mythical snake's most insidious qualities: sinister, calculating, and malicious. Displeased with the goddess's benevolent methods, Jhin plans to recreate humanity in his image and introduce them to the beauty of suffering.
Been spamming Mythmaker Jhin for about 70 games now and honestly, this skin hits different compared to other Jhin skins I own. The whole ink-brush aesthetic isn't just eye candy, it actually makes last-hitting feel smoother somehow. Maybe it's the way the auto attacks flow out like calligraphy strokes, but I'm definitely CSing better with this than Dark Cosmic.
The Q bounces have this satisfying ink splash that makes tracking grenades in teamfights way easier. But what really sold me was the ult. Those curtain shots feel more responsive than base skin, and the visual clarity is insane when you're trying to snipe through a messy dragon fight. Last night I caught their ADC trying to recall behind pit because the shot indicator was so clean I could thread it between their frontline. The W root has this gorgeous ink prison effect that's actually clearer than PROJECT's digital cage, which used to be my go-to for ranked.
This skin is purely cosmetic, not pay-to-win, but the visual improvements make it worth the 1820 RP if you're a Jhin main. The recall animation where he paints his mask is probably the cleanest in his collection. And those fourth shot sound effects? Chef's kiss. They pop off with this deep brush stroke sound that's way more satisfying than High Noon's gunshot.
Is Mythmaker Jhin worth it? If you play him regularly, absolutely. The Mythmaker line nailed the artistic theme perfectly for our virtuoso. My experience with Mythmaker Jhin convinced me to refund Shan Hai Scrolls Jhin, which felt clunky in comparison. For Jhin mains looking to upgrade from base or older skins, this is the one.
