Muay Thai Lee Sin was my first real skin purchase back in 2012, and after 150+ games this season alone I can honestly say it's aged like fine wine compared to other Lee Sin skins. The martial arts theme just fits his kit perfectly, and while it's an older 975 RP skin, the animations still feel incredibly smooth.

The Q resonating strike has this satisfying snap to it that makes landing those blind predictions feel even better. Your R feels more responsive than base skin, probably because the kick animation is cleaner without all the fancy effects getting in the way. And the E tempest has better visibility than something like God Fist where you can barely see the slow radius through all the particles. I remember this one dragon fight where the enemy jungler tried to smite steal, but I could perfectly time my Q2 execute because the animation is so clear. Meanwhile my friend using Dragon Fist kept missing his combos because he couldn't tell when his animations ended.

Is Muay Thai Lee Sin worth it? Absolutely, especially if you're learning the champion. It's not pay to win, but the cleaner animations definitely help with timing your ward hops and insec combos. The recall animation where he does the traditional Ram Muay dance is simple but clean. No flashy effects, just pure martial arts respect.

My experience with Muay Thai Lee Sin convinced me that sometimes the older, simpler skins are better for actual gameplay. If you're a Lee main who wants consistency over flashiness, this skin will never let you down. Sure, Storm Dragon looks insane, but when you're trying to pop off in ranked, Muay Thai's clarity makes all the difference.
