Meowrick

After spamming 90 games with Meowrick this month, I can finally give you guys my experience with Meowrick and whether it's actually worth picking up. The skin completely changes how Yorick feels in lane, and I'm not just talking about the cat ears on his shovel.

The Q animation feels way smoother compared to base Yorick or even Pentakill, making last hitting under tower less clunky when you're behind. Your ghouls turning into adorable kittens might seem cringe but good when they're chasing down enemies, and the W cage has better visibility with those yarn balls marking the edges. During a baron fight yesterday, I trapped their fed ADC and could instantly tell where my wall boundaries were while my ult was shredding their frontline. The Maiden becoming this giant cat spirit is probably the best part since her model doesn't block your vision as much as Arclight Yorick's bright effects do.

But here's what really sold me on spending 1350 RP after seeing it in my shop. The E mark is clearer than any other Yorick skin, making it easier to track in messy teamfights when everyone's popping off. I've owned Resistance Yorick forever and that skin feels ancient now, while Meowrick's animations flow together naturally when you're doing the standard E into W into Q combo. Is Meowrick worth it? For anyone who plays Yorick regularly, absolutely. The visual clarity alone makes split pushing and teamfighting more consistent. Should you buy Meowrick if you're just learning him? Maybe wait for a sale since the base skin works fine, but mains will appreciate how much cleaner everything feels once you adjust to the cat theme.
