Meowkai

Bought this skin after watching a streamer absolutely dominate with it for three straight games, and after 55 games myself, I can say the Meowkai experience is something else entirely. The cat theme might seem cringe at first but once you're in game throwing kittens at people, you can't help but love it. Compared to other Maokai skins like Worldbreaker or Astronaut, this one brings pure fun without sacrificing clarity.

The Q feels way smoother to cancel compared to base Maokai, and I swear the saplings seem more responsive when you're trying to zone enemies off dragon. Speaking of saplings, watching tiny cat bombs chase down the enemy ADC never gets old. During a baron fight yesterday, I landed a perfect ult that caught their whole team, and the meowing sound effects as the root traveled made everyone in voice chat lose it. The W animation where you turn into a ball of cats is probably the best part though, especially when you're tower diving and the enemy doesn't expect the furry assault.

Is Meowkai worth it compared to something like Victorious or Meowkai? Absolutely. The skin is purely cosmetic but the entertainment value alone makes it worth the 1350 RP. My experience with Meowkai has been that it actually helps me tilt less because even when I'm getting destroyed in lane, at least I'm a giant cat tree. And the recall where you play with the yarn ball is perfect for BM after winning a close teamfight. If you're a Maokai main or just want something fun in your collection, grab it next time it's in the shop.
