Medieval Twitch

An assassin-for-hire living beneath Dread Fortress Zaun, Twitch is a disgusting malefactor who has tipped every one of his killing implements in moist, toxic garbage. He excitedly awaits each contract, eager to kill, steal, and destroy as much as he can.

Got Medieval Twitch from a random chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much from this old skin. After around 55 games though, I'm actually shocked at how clean it feels compared to base Twitch. The crossbow aesthetic completely changes how the champion feels to play, especially during extended fights where you're kiting backwards.

The Q feels way smoother to activate somehow, probably because the stealth animation doesn't have that weird shimmer delay that base skin has. But what really caught me off guard was how much cleaner the auto attacks feel when you're trying to CS under tower. The bolt projectiles are super clear and I swear the animation cancel between autos and E feels more responsive than even Shadowfoot Twitch. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to reposition three times while maintaining perfect auto spacing just because the visual clarity made it so easy to track my attack timer. The W puddle blends better with river terrain too, which has definitely helped me catch people off guard.

Medieval Twitch compared to other Twitch skins sits in this weird spot where it's technically just a reskin but plays like a clarity upgrade. It's not pay to win exactly, but if you're someone who struggles with Twitch's janky base animations, this skin actually helps. The recall is whatever, nothing special there, and the ult doesn't feel different enough to matter. For an exclusive skin though, it's definitely worth having if you can get your hands on it. My experience with Medieval Twitch has been way better than expected and I'd probably pick it over Gangster or Pickpocket any day. Twitch mains who want something that feels good without being flashy should definitely try to snag this one.
