Mecha Zero Sion completely transforms the champ into something that actually feels threatening during teamfights. After around 120 games with this skin, I'm convinced it's probably the best visual upgrade Sion has ever gotten, and that's coming from someone who owns everything except Hextech.
The Q charge feels so much more responsive compared to base skin, with that mechanical windup sound giving you perfect audio cues for when to release. Your ult literally turns you into a freight train with those jet engines firing up, making it way easier to judge your trajectory during those crucial dragon fights. I remember this one game where we were behind and I managed to steal drake with a perfect ult angle through river, something I swear would've been harder to pull off with Worldbreaker's bulkier model. The W shield has this sick energy field effect that makes it super clear when it's about to pop, giving you that split second advantage in lane trades.
Is Mecha Zero Sion worth it? At 1820 RP it's definitely steep, but the cleaner animations alone make last hitting feel less clunky. Compared to other Sion skins like Lumberjack or even Worldbreaker, this one gives you actual clarity advantages. The death passive transformation is insane too, turning you into this rage mode mech that opponents seem to underestimate more often.
My experience with Mecha Zero Sion convinced me it's borderline pay to win for Sion mains. The visual clarity on abilities combined with those smoother animations genuinely helps you land more Qs and judge distances better. If you're serious about climbing with Sion, this skin will make a diff in your gameplay.
