Mecha Kingdoms Garen

Got this skin from a mystery chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock God King or Warring Kingdoms. After about 50 games though, Mecha Kingdoms Garen might be my new go to for ranked.

The Q animation feels way smoother than base skin and you can actually cancel it cleaner into your E spin. What really sold me was during a dragon fight where I flash Q'd their fed ADC and the animation was so responsive I could instantly start spinning before they could flash away. The ult indicator is probably the clearest of all his skins too, making it easier to know when someone's in execute range. Compared to other Garen skins like Rugged or Steel Legion, this one just feels less clunky overall. His E spin has this satisfying mechanical whirr that makes CSing more enjoyable, and the W shield actually looks like proper armor plating activating rather than some generic glow.

Is Mecha Kingdoms Garen worth it? For 1350 RP it's definitely not just a cosmetic upgrade. The cleaner animations genuinely help with combos and the ult clarity can be the diff between securing kills or watching enemies walk away with 10 HP. My experience with Mecha Kingdoms Garen has been surprisingly positive for a skin I never planned on using. And before anyone asks, no it's not pay to win but the visual clarity improvements are noticeable enough that I'd recommend it for anyone who plays Garen regularly. The skin aged really well compared to his older ones and still feels modern three years later.
