Been spamming Mecha Aurelion Sol for about 80 games now after grabbing it from a chest, and honestly it's become my go-to over Storm Dragon. The skin completely changes how his kit feels, especially when you're trying to CS under pressure or set up plays in river.

The Q feels way more responsive compared to other Aurelion Sol skins, probably because the mecha orb has cleaner edges that make it easier to judge the stun radius. His W stars are transformed into these rotating satellites that actually help me track their position better during teamfights. But the real game changer is his ult. That laser beam is insanely clear compared to base skin's cosmic breath, and I've landed way more max range ults because I can actually see where it ends. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to snipe their ADC through the pit wall because the beam visibility let me thread it perfectly between their frontline.

Storm Dragon might have the cooler recall and overall vibe, but Mecha wins on clarity alone. The passive stars don't blend into terrain like they do on base skin, which saved me from inting into bushes more times than I'd like to admit. And when you're fed and flying around with E, the jet transformation just looks sick while still keeping your hitbox visible. Is Mecha Aurelion Sol worth it? If you're serious about climbing with ASol, this skin gives you a slight edge that's worth the 1350 RP. It's not exactly pay-to-win, but the visual clarity improvements make landing skillshots more consistent. For ASol mains who want every advantage they can get, this one's basically mandatory.
